Pastoral & Spiritual Care
Please contact our Pastoral Leadership should you require pastoral or spiritual care at any time.
As Christians, we live our lives in connection to God, one another, and the cosmos while experiencing the human realities of needs, desires, goals, and hopes including wholeness and fulfillment.
Pastoral and Spiritual Care is something that may be experienced routinely within our everyday life, during life passages (such as illness, marriage, and death), and at times of life-disruptions and crisis. Pastoral and Spiritual Care occurs within daily interactions with those who accompany us along our journeys of faith, join us in worship attendance and share in the Sacraments, provide support through presence, listening, and prayer, as witnesses to the abiding presence of God and His love at all times and in all places.

Service & Witness
'Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.' [1 Cor 12:4-6]
YOU ARE INVITED to share in Christ's ministry through the ministries of the Salisbury Lutheran Parish. To meet the ongoing and unexpected needs of our neighbors and communities many hands and diverse talents are required. Through community outreach initiatives, service projects, collections for local food pantries and various ministry partners, and the Backpack Feeding Program, there are many opportunities to be involved. Please contact our Pastor or Leadership for information about volunteering and providing support.

By God's grace, mercy, and love, we are part of the body of Christ and the Church catholic. As a Lutheran Church, we journey by faith and trust in God's promises of forgiveness and salvation in Jesus Christ. Through preaching and the Sacraments, the Holy Spirit creates and sustains our faith. Through our baptisms, we are fully united to Christ Jesus, freed from Sin and death, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives of faith within this community, and the world, as servants of Christ and in loving and generous service to others (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). Living out our faith through Christ, we share in the fullness of human life - the mysteries and paradoxes, human limitations and failings, joys and celebrations, and the uncertainties and sufferings.
We pray that God's grace, love, generosity, and spirit of reconciliation and peace flow through us
into the life of the world as we share in Christ's ministry within this Parish, our communities, and the world.
